Trash Boulder
**Trash Boulder Trash Boulder has a lot of fun easy problems and several high moderates.
Directions: From Truckee head south on 89 through the tunnel and at the intersection of 89 and River street head another .3
miles and turn right at a road that quickly becomes a dirt road. Follow it for .2 miles until the road takes a hard left (from here
you can see the boulder through the trees on the right). Take the right just around the bend then another quick right on a faint
road that goes to some old furniture and the trash boulder.
Approach: Park at the boulders
Ambiance: * Just you and the forest, and a cool
boulder and an old couch and some old clothes, and
well the name of the boulder says it all. The nearby
road is popular with mountain bikers.
Parking: The old campsite could hold several cars.
Kids/Dogs: The backside of the boulder is a good kid
height, and the dogs should be pretty free to roam.
The road seams pretty popular for mountain bikers
and the boulder is an easy spot for locals get a session
in.
Shade: Shady
Rock Type: Granite-Quality
